Text of report by Azerbaijani TV station ANS on 1st November

[Presenter] The Council of Europe and OSCE are confident that the simultaneous admission of Azerbaijan and Armenia to the Council of Europe will facilitate the establishment of stability and security in the region as well as giving an impetus to solution of the Karabakh conflict, it says in a joint statement by the OSCE acting chairwoman [and Austrian Foreign Minister], Benita Ferrero-Waldner, and the head of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe [and Italian Foreign Minister], Lamberto Dini. The heads of the Council of Europe and OSCE hoped that the simultaneous admission of Azerbaijan and Armenia to the Council of Europe would take place in the near future.
