Article 1743. Interference in the sessions of the election commissions during elections, referendums and plebiscites.

This means placing obstacles to the ballot in polling stations; to the registration of candidates to the parliament or other representative bodies, parties or initiative groups to organise a referendum; to the calculation of votes in district and regional polling stations; and to the other duties connected with examination of general results of elections, referendums or plebiscites.

Offenders shall be liable to a fine - from one to three minimal salaries (minimal salary - 1.50 GEL).

Article 1744. Refusal to submit materials to the election, referendum or plebiscite commissions, or the failure to fulfil their resolutions.

Responsible officials shall be liable to a fine - from two to five minimal salaries.

Article 1745. Agitation during elections, referendums and plebiscites.

Agitation in favour or against candidates to the parliament or other representative bodies, parties running elections, or questions to be decided by a referendum or a plebiscite during the day of elections, referendums or plebiscites, shall be liable to a fine:

- for ordinary offenders - from one to three minimal salaries;

- for responsible officials - from two to four minimal salaries.

Article 1746. Carrying weapons in polling stations or places for pre-election agitation.

1. Carrying of firearms, sidearms or any other weapons in polling stations or places for pre-election agitation, provided it is not connected with official duty, shall be liable to a fine:

- for ordinary offenders - from one to three minimal salaries;

- for responsible officials - from two to five minimal salaries.

2. If committed with demonstration of the weapons, the same offence shall be liable to a fine:

- for ordinary offenders - from two to five minimal salaries;

- for responsible officials - from three to six minimal salaries.
