RESULTS "WILL CERTAINLY BE FALSIFIED" - COMMUNIST PARTY
LEADER

Electoral commissions "have a whole range of systems to
rig election results" that may be used during the 10th October
elections, a deputy chairman of the Azamat Party, Petr Svoik,
told a news conference in Almaty on 6th October,
Interfax-Kazakhstan news agency reported the same day.
He said that they may raise the turnout by "throwing"
additional voting papers in ballot boxes or on tables or by
transferring voting papers "to the batch of that person who was
designated in advance as the winner".

The agency quoted the Communist Party leader, Serikbolsyn
Abdildin, as having said to a news conference in Almaty on 5th
October that the election results "will certainly be falsified"
because "not a single observer from political partices and
particularly opposition parties" had been included in the
composition of electoral commissions.
