The presidential candidate, Abdulhafiz Jalolov, who was nominated from the
People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan [PDPU] met the electorate in
Tashkent Region today. The meeting was chaired by the chairman of the 10th
constituency commission of Tashkent Region on presidential elections, Umar
Muslimov. The proxy of the candidate for the post of the president of the
Republic of Uzbekistan, secretary of the PDPU Central Council, Asliddin
Rustamov, familiarized the participants at the meeting with Abdulhafiz
Jalolov's biography and work.
The presidential candidate, Abdulhafiz Jalolov, delivered a speech and read
out his election manifesto and noted the importance of phased democratic
reforms in the country.
Those who were present at the meeting expressed their opinion on the
candidate's programme and urged voters to be active and show political
consciousness in the forthcoming presidential elections, as far as the
country's future depends on the elections of the head of state.
