East of Magnum, a traveling photo exhibition, examines fifty years of Cold War. The show brings for the first time 130 images from the world-renowned Magnum Photo agency to six nations in Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Mongolia. East of Magnum lets viewers from the other side of the Berlin Wall compare their memories with the images that Magnum's photographers brought to the West. Though individual in style, Magnum photographers are at once adventurers, journalists, humanists, artists and fiercely committed documentarians. East of Magnum is sponsored by Soros Foundations of its host countries and by the Open Society Institute.
