INTERPOL today issued a wanted notice for Maxim Bakiyev who is thought to be hiding in Latvia. Maxim, son of deposed dictator Kurmanbek (a.k.a. BaKS), is wanted for fraud in his native Kyrgyzstan, where, for the five years of his father's rule, he had been livin [glamorously] off the fatta land. Kyrgyz investigators want to question Maxim for his connections to just about every profitable company in Kyrgyzstan.
Unfortunately, INTERPOL's mugshot is illegible. In case you aren't sure whom to look for, check out this AP page. Max is a pretty scary-looking dude.
Speaking of scary Bakiyevs, here's my favorite of Papa Bear, courtesy of AFP.
