UK companies to supply special equipment for construction of railways in Turkmenistan
Companies from the UK will supply special vehicles for railway maintenance in Turkmenistan. According to President Berdymukhamedov’s decree, the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan is authorized to purchase equipment from Wellsford LLP and Stock Plaza LLP.

Turkmenistan Increases Liquefied Gas Exports
Turkmenistan intends to increase its export of liquefied natural gas in 2013, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced. "A powerful gas production complex in Naip and Bagaja (eastern Turkmenistan) entered into the new year with confidence. Production continues round-the-clock, and the pace of the work is increasing," said the announcement, adding that the introduction of advanced equipment and high technologies help increase the production. Last year the complex produced 144,000 tons of liquefied natural gas.
