INDIAN DELEGATION ARRIVES IN TURKMENISTAN FOR PIPELINE TALKS
Delegates from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India arrived in Ashgabat on 13 February for the ninth meeting of the steering committee for the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan natural-gas pipeline, turkmenistan.ru reported. Mines and Industry Minister Mir Mohammad Sediq will represent Afghanistan. Amanullah Jadoon, federal minister for petroleum and natural resources, will head Pakistan's delegation, "Dawn" reported. The two-day meeting, scheduled for 14-15 February, is the first ministerial-level session of the steering committee to which India has been invited.
