Turkey missed "golden opportunity" to mend ties - Armenian foreign
minister

Yerevan, 3 February: Turkey has missed a "golden opportunity" to
normalize relations with Armenia, Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan
Oskanyan has said.
Speaking on 1 February at the "Pro-Armenia" international conference in
Paris, Oskanyan said that by declaring the settlement of the Nagornyy
Karabakh conflict as a precondition for engaging in any dialogue with
Armenia, Turkey had missed the historical moment of the dissolution of
the Soviet Union to establish neighbourly relations with Armenia and
engage Armenia in regional relations, Armenian Foreign Ministry told
Mediamax news agency today.
