OSCE issued ultimatum to Azeri, Armenian leaders over Karabakh - Azeri paper

Excerpt from Rauf report by Azerbaijani newspaper Zerkalo on 14 November
entitled "Cochairmen issue ultimatum to Armenia and Azerbaijan"

Yerevan and Baku could find themselves under pressure from Moscow and
Washington if they do not reach an agreement soon

Zerkalo has learnt from informed diplomatic sources that during the last
visit to Baku, Yerevan and Xankandi [Stepanakert], the mediators issued an
ultimatum to the leaderships of Armenia and Azerbaijan on behalf of the
presidents of the countries represented in the OSCE Minsk Group. The gist
of the ultimatum is that either the parties to the conflict should agree
between themselves on the option for the Karabakh settlement proposed by
the OSCE Minsk Group cochairmen before the November summit of CIS heads of
state, or Armenia and Azerbaijan will find themselves under pressure from
Moscow and Washington. The USA and Russia have enough clout to make a
