Regional
tourism development conference
A
regional conference was held by the National Tourism Center to find ways
of improving developing tourism. The purpose of the conference was to how
best to bring Mongolian tour agencies up to world standards, to increase
tourists traveling to Mongolia and to develop tourism as a leading economic
branch in order to do this is to develop tourism regionally.
FACTS:
After the National Tourism
Center considered the tourism source
and tourists` interests,
they divided the tourism
places into 15 regions.
Receiving
of the State Orders
Today
a ceremony was held at the Government House for the receiving of the State
Orders by the decision of the President of Mongolia. The Medallion of
the Meritorious Teacher was given to B.Galmandah music teacher of school
52 for his efforts in giving musical education to children, and the Medallion
of the Outstanding Artist was granted to head of the "Kharanga"
music band Ts.Enkhmanlai for his contribution of developing rock music
in Mongolia. And other medallion was given to as well.
FACTS:
The first ever medallion was
made in 1913 during the reign of
the "Bogd King" or "Sacred
King". The name of
the Medallion was "Erdeniin Ochir"
which means "Diamond".
RURAL
NEWS
The
center of the Dornod aimag Choibalsan province cannot be connected by
the phone with Sumber province due to the fire that has spread throughout
the region. At the present 3 cars, 6 tractor, 200 people, 6 firefighters
are working in those provinces to quell the flames

ENTERTAINMENT
On April 28, one of the most wanted music bands "Bolor" or "Crystal"
is going to have it`s 1st unplugged concert at Top Ten disco
club at 8PM.It`s the only Mongolian band with an American drummer.
ELECTION
NEWS
A treaty
was signed between the Mongolian Civil Courage party and the Mongolian
Green Party to run together in the upcoming election. Afterwards the heads
of both parties planted trees around the Gandantegchilen monastery and
they had a worshipping ceremony in honor of the god "Janraisag".
WHO
SAID WHAT?
If
the Mongolian People`s Revolutionary Party does not win in this election
Mongolia will be ruined. Anyone who wants to commit suicide can vote for
the other parties. We must remember who recovered a country with a rationing
system, shops only selling salt and 200 million dollar debt before it
was handed over to M.Enkhsaihan.

Mongolian National Democratic Party
together with the Mongolian Social
Democratic Party won the Parliamentary
Election. The first
Prime Minister was M.Enkhsaihan
and at the present R.Amarjargal
is the 4th Prime Minister
