Iranian delegation arrives in Tajikistan
Text of report by Tajik radio on 10th October
A delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by Iran's Deputy Foreign
Minister [for Education and Research] Sadeq Kharrazi, arrived in Dushanbe
on an official visit today.
A Khovar news agency correspondent was told at the Tajik Foreign Ministry's
Information Department that during the visit the Iranian diplomat will meet
and have talks with Tajik Foreign Minister Talbak Nazarov, Education
Minister Safarali Rajabov and Minister of Culture Bobokhan Mahmadov.
Likewise, Sadeq Kharrazi plans to meet the first deputy chairman of the
Assembly of Representatives [the lower house] of the Supreme Assembly
[parliament] of Tajikistan, Abdulmajid Dostiyev.
According to the scheduled programme, the Iranian delegation will carry out
a charitable activity, that is to say, it [the delegation] will present
pamphlets, leaflets and computers to research and educational
establishments.
